Dovetail Park Golf Club

Designer: Simon Morris

Course Description:

Dovetail Park Golf Club: Set in the Countryside theme, this 7,250 yard, 18 hole, par 72 track offers a tough but fair challenge amongst its many varied tests of skill & judgement. Even though the green speeds are medium paced, you will need to work hard, often scrambling, to hand in a decent card. Course management is the order of the day here as poor decisions & badly executed shots are severely punished, whilst accuracy & well placed shots are aptly rewarded. The traditional 4,10,4 layout offers some beautiful scenery & vistas in this true test of golf.

Member Reviews:

Enjoyed the layout and the course felt like a real golf course. I didn't think it needed to be high on the firm meter though because it is well designed and the greens were challenging.

Overall it's a nice course, worthy of a tour spot somewhere.

I rated it a 7 in the game. If it weren't for the high firmness, I would have given it an 8, possibly a 9.

Fairways, good shapes, variety of elevations too and some split fairways for alternate route and Multiple Landing areas to consider off the tee

Greens - I Love multi tiers, contours and challenging greens, I might go on a Golfing Diet so i can live off the Greens  LOL  aussie joke there

So theses greens are great there my style lots character and not flat boring

The Green speed is med but they play med fast- very deceiving

This course will be a really good challenge on any tour
