Hideki is my entry into the 2021 National Treasure contest in which I was picked to build a course that best represents the country of Japan. The name "Hideki" was chosen to honor Japan's first ever Master's Champion Hideki Matsuyama. The course is designed to play tough but fair in most conditions. Most of the 18 holes were built to provide safe landing areas for most players while still challenging the approach shot into the greens. Due to the wider than average fairways the course does not provide light rough for errant tee shots. All pin placements are challenging on the fast and firm default settings. Be careful on which side of the hole you chose to play as you make your approach. The wrong choice or an errant shot will often leave you with a longer and more difficult putt. Enjoy your stay at the hotel that offers entertainment on the top floor. A pool, hot tub, and a 3-deck driving range are all part of the amenities.
