Patience Hollow is an intimate rustic course, which is a throwback to a classic style of golf course that one would find created in the mid-20th century. The course features scenic tee shots framed by narrow tree openings. The effect is largely aesthetic, as ample landing areas adorn the tree-lined fairways. The relatively small plot of land used provides glimpses of the course throughout.
The greens are small and tricky, but can be scored upon. The main feature of the course is the creek that runs through the middle of the property. This creek comes into play on 8 of the holes.
The signature hole is #12, a par 5 which provides an array of approach options. Challenge the green in two over the water, lay up short of the trees left of the fairway for back pin locations, or layup beyond those trees for the front pin locations.
I hope you enjoy your round!
