Pumpkin Ridge

Designer: Seth Campion

Course Description:

Pumpkin Ridge is a rugged and challenging course set in the Mountains and Hills of Tennessee. The course is designed to resemble the layout of the Great Smoky Mountains during the fall, with steep cliffs and houses and cabins nestled into the mountainside. The course itself has wide fairways, gradual elevation changes, and fair greens and plays fair in high winds. Pay attention on your drives and pay attention to the elevation changes and you should have an enjoyable round. Have fun!

Member Reviews:

A few of the greens are arguably a little small, and its a shame you can't hit driver off the 5th tee and take the risk of going for the green in 2, but those are just minor issues on what is a very well designed course. I always prefer playing courses where you have to make choices about what is the best shot to play, and that is certainly the case here with some good risk/reward holes and tees shots where hitting the driver is risky. Everything looks pretty nice as well with good use of additional features such as fencing, buildings etc to make the course look more interesting.
