The Club at Ravenswood is located about 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, and was just recently re-opened after a 17-year abandonment caused when an unsolved murder took place on the property in the fall of 2000, driving most of the membership away from the club. Nesbit Golf Management purchased the site and committed several million dollars to the renovation project, which included remodeling the clubhouse, installing world-class practice facilities, and returning the course's layout to the historic out-and-back design that the original architect had built in 1956. There are no cart paths on the course, as caddies will be offered to each foursome, and there's a halfway house behind the 9th green to grab a break and a refreshment during your round. You'll have plenty of opportunities to score on this design, but don't get caught on the wrong side of the hole or it gets a little slick on the greens.
