This is a kinda cross between two of my other courses University Links and Tye Dunes. It is set on a sandy peninsular which is almost entirely surrounded with beach. The land mass is geographically tilted which results in sand dunes on one side of the course and cliffs on the other. It is, like many of my courses, a links inspired affair, however it is not devoid of trees and there is not a pot bunker in sight. Instead it is covered in sprawling wasteland type bunkers which blend in with the sandy base terrain. There are also a few holes which offer slightly non-traditionally steep elevation changes for a links course.
Whilst it is able to support firm and fast conditions and a longer course length, the original release is a medium firmness and medium fast affair coming in around 6900 yards. I feel the setup rewards good shots with birdies and gives you a challenging but fair scramble for par of you don't.
